West Cemetery

There are markers for eleven people in this small, fenced family cemetery that has not been used since 1889. The oldest marker is for Harvey Wilson Allen who died 12 July 1860. Most of the old markers have been damaged and are no longer erect. Newer markers duplicate the information on the old ones and both are shown below.

To visit the cemetery, drive south on Hwy 77A to County Road 312, the fourth road to the right past the Rocky Creek bridge. Go 0.8 miles and turn left on County Road 307. The Patek farm is 0.8 miles farther on the right and has a white pipe iron gate. The cemetery is to the right of the house about 100 yards in a clump of trees.
